I don’t know if you’ve checked out my wife’s photography in a while but if you haven’t you should.  She upgraded to a pretty rockin camera a little while back and it’s really showing up in her most recent work.  She is way to humble about it (…And it shows in her prices) but that’s probably a lot better than the alternative I guess.  So anyway, check it out.  Let me know what you Think.  Do you have a favorite pic?

I’ve mentioned Jessup before right? I study at a Christian university called William Jessup in Rocklin, CA. Ring any bells? So, 2 months ago I realized that I needed to take 2 more classes. I needed 6 more elective units and so I quickly enrolled in a couple extra (over and above my 12) at the local JC here in town. Now, it was all a little much so I dropt English and kept the photography class and things are pretty good now. Good call right?

The photography class is rad! It’s the only digital photography class that the school offers. There are tons of film classes. It’s an awesome break from the rigorous academics involved in all my other classes.

That, however, is not to say that this is not challenging. Far from it! Photography boggles my mind. My wife is a genius when it comes to this stuff, but it’s going to take me a while to get it. I am loving the process though.

So, here is my first project. I turned it in today. I will probably look back in a few months and laugh at myself for showing you, but here it is. It’s no Celestial Photography but you’ve got to start somewhere right? Oh! And the assignment was frozen, blurred, panned, and creative motion so that’s what I was going for. Let me know what you think? Be gentle. Grace Friends!

Hey Friends, this is one picture from a senior portrait that Celestial just got done with. I think it’s pretty great. What do you think?

I love how little I understand about technology. It actually provides a great deal of relational opportunity in my life: Instead of spending a minute with a friend who wants to show me how to work iChat, I get to spend ten. I am pretty bad.

But I don’t think it’s all my fault. I have definitely come to notice that electronics hate me. I am sure my iPhone will work fine for anyone. In my hands, however, it is a mystery of disfunction.

My wife is amazing. Electronics love her. She can figure out anything if she has an internet connections and 2 seconds. When I left this morning she had a killer photography business and no web site. When I came home she had chosen a name, bought a web domain, and built her own web site.

Let me make sure I explain this right. She doesn’t build websites! She wanted one, so she got online and figured out how to do it; and she built it for free. And it’s pretty sic. That’s my wife Celestial. Check out chatterboxphotography.com it’s pretty stinkin great.
